Malta Police Association Ukash scam appears suddenly and locks my screen. It’s a notification from the local government, declaring they have find illegal activities on my PC, thus, I’m fined and may face a deprivation of liberty for 2 to 8 years. I know it’s untrue, but I can’t remove it or get access to the desktop. More strangely, when I try to use F11 to start a recovery, only to find the System Recovery Option is missing!!! How does it become unavailable? Any brilliant ideas regarding the removal of Malta Police Association virus?
Malta Police Association Virus is designed to hijack windows-based computers in Romanian. It’s another variant of Ukash virus, only changed in language, and the name and logo of the government department to appear like legit messages from the authority. Unsuspicious victims who lack of knowledge about computer lockup virus may take seriously about the notification and decide to pay a fine to unlock their computers. What a shame for unscrupulous swindlers to rip off people in such an insidious way.

Please bear in mind: You should NEVER ever pay the fine! It’s a scam and a non-existing fine. If unfortunately you have already pay the fine, call your bank to recoup your loss, and report such cyber criminal to your local police station.
