  1. ANVI is not for Windows. I burned the iso image. When one boots up it sees the disk and says “Welcome to Grub !” Then on the next line its says. “error: Unknown file System”

The next line says: “Entering Rescue Mode” then goes to a next line which simple gives a prompt, namely: “Grub Rescue > prompt —- and sits there and blinks. LOL what garbage. And it won’t take a DOS command to show the directory to access the setup.

I burned a CD for nothing. Hiren’s also uses a Linux system, or so. And its seen in Window Computer. Burning is the simple part, making it bootable which harder was omitted.

    • Hello Dedavid,

I apologize if there is any problem.

Anvi Rescue Disk is developed to fix and recover severely infected Windows computer. We can assure you that the tool is for Windows operating system computer.

To use the tool, you should use a USB drive that more than 512M and use a CD with enough space.

The reason that your encounter the problem may due to the fact that you are not burning the iso file completely.

      Please try again.

If any problem, please let us know.

Thanks a lot for your time.

    • grub is just a boot loader. It would want unix commands, not DOS. If the Cd wasn’t large enough to burn the entire ISO file it will not read right. Try it on a DVD. I haven’t used CD-R in years and don’t remember the size they hold. You can also spend the $8 on a 4gb flash drive

  2. I have followed all the steps and now cannot connect to the network..
I have wireless network not DSL so that tip won’t help

  3. Won’t connect to the Internet… Have tried everything. Please help!!! Won’t even see a wireless connection and can’t recognize the wired one..
