  1. Hi
I use Firefox and I can’t remove this snapdo.
Firstly: in control panel, Uninstall a program does not give me the possibility to uninstall. I can’t see snapdo but I can see things like “shopping helper smartbar” that I would like to uninstall but I can’t. If I left click on it, at the top I can only see Organise and View. Uninstall has disappeared (and this is for ALL programs, not just this shopping helper smartbar).
Secondly: in add-ons, the only extension I have is an epub reader that I have had for ages.
Thirdly: I receive a phone call a few days ago from someone claiming to be from Microsoft who said my IP address has been stolen and is being used for criminal activities. He told me to look in event viewer and that he would ring me back. There are 1000s of errors showing in even viewer but he never rang back.

    • Hi Itenary,

First, please try to double click on the “Shopping Helper Smartbar” and then right click to uninstall it. If you are still not allowed to uninstall it, please use the free tool Anvi Uninstaller to uninstall it. http://www.anvisoft.com/uninstaller.html

Second, if you can not find the extension in Firefox, please just ignore the step.

Third, The call from the Microsoft is a scam. Actually, official Microsoft will never call users regarding the issue you mentioned.

If you have any problem removing snap.do, please let us know. We will try our best to help you with your issue.
